Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU
• Strong neonatal assessment, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to provide safe, age-appropriate care in a fast-paced neonatal care environment
• Excellent documentation, communication, and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of patient safety standards, infection control practices, and evidence-based nursing care

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough neonatal assessments and monitor patient status closely in the NICU
• Deliver direct nursing care to high-acuity NICU patients based on unit needs and acuity
• Maintain accurate, timely charting throughout the patient care process
• Support families with professional, compassionate communication and education
• Follow safety protocols, including proper identification and universal precautions
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support the best outcomes for newborns
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergency situations
