• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: Weekend coverage as needed / every third weekend; must be willing to float as needed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,860 - $1,960
• Setting: Acute care, ortho, post-operative, and med/surg
• Patient Population: Adult and pediatric patients ages 13 and older

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIH certification
• Experience with orthopedic, post-operative, bariatric, GI, and trauma patients preferred
• Strong assessment skills, teamwork, and a customer service mindset
• Ability to work independently, ask questions when needed, and provide compassionate bedside care
• Willingness to float within the unit as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality acute care nursing to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status using the Meditech EHR system
• Care for patients recovering from orthopedic, postoperative, bariatric, GI, and trauma-related conditions
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Maintain patient ratios while providing attentive, compassionate bedside nursing care
• Support weekend coverage and floating assignments as needed
• Promote a professional, team-oriented, and patient-centered care environment
