• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,300 - $2,420
• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday; flexibility for unit needs expected

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current RN license
• 2+ years of recent acute care nursing experience
• Telemetry nursing experience with independent interpretation of telemetry strips
• Ability to adapt quickly across multiple MedSurg and telemetry units
• Experience with Meditech and Epic electronic medical record systems
• Strong IV skills and bedside clinical support experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must pass an on-site exam on day 1 with 84% or better; up to 2 attempts allowed
• Flexibility to support a variety of float pool assignments

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care in MedSurg and telemetry nursing settings
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret telemetry strips independently, and escalate concerns as needed
• Provide IV therapy and perform core bedside nursing duties
• Float to up to five different units and adjust quickly to changing patient needs
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to support patient flow and positive outcomes
• Maintain professionalism, reliability, and strong communication in a fast-paced acute care environment
