• Shift: 12-hour day and night shifts (7:00 PM and 7:00 AM)
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Days
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,830-$1,930
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: 1 major and 1 minor holiday per year
• Floating: First to float to MSICU, PCCU, and boarders as needed
• Setting: 16-bed ICU
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• On-Site: Yes
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
• Epic Access: Required

Job Requirements

• Active RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU or comparable critical care experience
• Ability to pass an ECG exam on day 2 (pass/fail)
• Experience managing high-acuity neuro and cardiac patients preferred
• Comfort titrating vasoactive drips and managing ventilated patients
• Strong charting, documentation, and workflow skills with Epic
• Ability to adapt quickly and provide excellent care in a team-oriented healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for ICU patients with complex neurological, respiratory, cardiac, and metabolic conditions
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient status in a fast-paced critical care setting
• Titrate drips including norepinephrine, epinephrine, vasopressin, phenylephrine, and dopamine per protocols
• Care for patients requiring mechanical ventilation, high-flow nasal cannula, and BiPAP/CPAP support
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, clinical technicians, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe patient outcomes
• Interpret and act on rhythm strips as required
• Float to MSICU, PCCU, and boarder assignments as needed
• Deliver patient-centered critical care with professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail
