In this travel nursing role, you will support a high-performing cardiac catheterization team by providing attentive patient care before, during, and after complex procedures. • Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,000 - $3,160
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Shift Duration: 10 hours
• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, typically 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with rotating days off
• Call Requirements: One weekday call per week and one weekend every 4 weeks
• Location: Carbondale, IL 62901

Job Requirements

• Current RN license in the applicable state
• More than 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience preferred
• Experience with moderate sedation strongly preferred
• Strong assessment, monitoring, and procedural support skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced cardiovascular procedural setting
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills

Responsibilities

• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients throughout cardiovascular procedures
• Assist with procedure setup, patient preparation, and room turnover
• Support cardiac and vascular interventions in the Cath Lab
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes during procedures
• Assist with pre-procedure and post-procedure care as needed
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and patient-centered clinical environment
• Collaborate with physicians and the procedural team to support workflow and quality care
