Experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Edmonds, Washington, in the greater Seattle and Puget Sound area. • Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,110 - $2,220
• Unit Focus: Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn Care

Job Requirements

• 2 years of recent experience in LDRP, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and newborn care
• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
• Compact license accepted
• Current certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• ACLS preferred
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Ability to work in a high-acuity obstetric setting and float as needed
• Strong clinical skills in maternal, fetal, and newborn nursing care

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to patients in labor, delivery, postpartum, antepartum, and OB triage
• Support vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, and circulating in the OR
• Monitor fetal heart tracings and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal status
• Start and maintain adult IVs and assist with blood and blood product administration
• Manage epidural pumps, PCA pumps, insulin, and magnesium sulfate therapy
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and support high-risk obstetric care
• Provide couplet care and support normal newborn assessments and transitions
• Document accurately in Epic and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
• Promote a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered experience for every family
