• Setting: On-site maternity and newborn care
• Charting System: Epic
• Experience Required: 2 years in LDRP, Labor & Delivery, Post Partum, and newborn care

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
• Compact license accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Post Partum, LDRP, and newborn care
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, FHM, and AWHONN Intermediate
• ACLS preferred
• Experience with Epic documentation preferred
• Comfortable working in a high-acuity maternity and women’s health setting
• Must be willing to float as needed
• Strong candidates should be prepared to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for Labor & Delivery, Post Partum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn patients
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean deliveries
• Circulate in the OR for C-sections
• Start and maintain adult IVs
• Administer blood and blood products safely and accurately
• Manage and monitor epidural pumps, PCA pumps, insulin, and magnesium sulfate therapy
• Care for high-risk antepartum and labor patients
• Support couplet care and newborn recovery
• Perform patient assessments, triage, and ongoing maternal-fetal monitoring
• Maintain safe, efficient, and compassionate care throughout the shift
