- Schedule: Self-scheduling with every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Float Requirement: Postpartum and Labor & Delivery for neonatal care support

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent NICU experience required
- At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment required
- NICU II experience required
- CPAP experience required
- BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
- Ability to successfully pass a Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with an overall score of 80% and 100% on lethal rhythms
- Cerner experience preferred/required for success in the role
- Strong history of completed assignments and no cancellations
- Flu vaccine required
- Comfortable floating to postpartum and Labor & Delivery for neonatal care
- Ability to work a 36-hour weekly schedule with weekend and holiday coverage as assigned
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for neonates in a Level II Special Care Nursery/NICU
- Monitor and maintain cardiopulmonary, neurologic, metabolic, and thermal stability
- Deliver respiratory support including high-flow oxygen, CPAP, bubble CPAP, and mechanical ventilation as needed
- Manage central lines, peripheral IVs, lab draws, and IV antibiotic administration
- Support stabilization of infants, including those under 32 weeks, and prepare for transfer when appropriate
- Perform neonatal resuscitation and assist with specialized newborn procedures per protocol
- Care for infants experiencing apnea, bradycardia, respiratory distress syndrome, and thermoregulation needs
- Use ventilator systems, point-of-care glucose testing, and smart pump technology safely and effectively
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, timely treatment decisions
- Provide neonatal care support in postpartum and Labor & Delivery areas when floated
