• Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum two (2) years of bedside nursing experience
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong assessment, documentation, and patient education skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare setting

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within the first 8 hours of admission
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on patient needs
• Coordinate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to support treatment goals
• Provide timely, accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Support patient rehabilitation through direct bedside care and patient education
• Initiate discharge planning and teaching from day one
• Communicate important changes in patient status to the charge nurse and physician
• Guide and supervise ancillary nursing staff as appropriate
• Promote patient and staff safety by following facility policies and safe-care practices
• Contribute to a positive unit culture through teamwork, professionalism, and calm leadership
