Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of bedside clinical experience required; 2 years strongly preferred
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive nursing assessments within the first 8 hours of admission
• Develop and carry out individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
• Provide timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Support rehabilitation goals and patient/family education throughout the stay
• Initiate discharge planning and teaching early in the admission process
• Communicate patient status changes clearly to physicians, charge nurses, and other care team members
• Supervise and direct ancillary nursing personnel as appropriate
• Promote a safe, organized, and positive environment for patients and staff
• Contribute to quality outcomes through efficient, compassionate, patient-centered care
