Job Details

• Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour days
• Hours Per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Call Requirement: None
• Orientation: Weekly orientation available on Mondays

Job Requirements

• Active RN license and eligibility to work as a Registered Nurse in Kentucky
• At least 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred; 1-2 years strongly desired
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Ability to provide care in a high-acuity ICU and critical care setting
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
• Willingness to float within a 25-mile radius if needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to ICU patients
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
• Support neuro-focused and general critical care needs within the unit
• Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and a patient-first mindset in a fast-paced acute care environment
