Job Details

• Position: ICU Registered Nurse (Travel Nurse)
• Location: Gadsden, Alabama 35903
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,640 - $1,730
• Start Date: ASAP / 10/5/2026
• Employment Type: Travel Contract
• Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Job Requirements

• Active Alabama RN license or multistate compact RN license
• At least 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience caring for ventilated patients in a critical care setting
• Experience managing vasoactive drips and unstable patient conditions
• Cerner experience preferred
• Ability to work night shift travel nurse schedules and every other weekend
• Travel-ready candidate who lives 50+ miles from the facility

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled bedside care to critically ill ICU patients
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Care for patients on ventilators and vasoactive infusions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
• Promote a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care environment
• Support unit flow and follow established critical care clinical protocols
