Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active New Hampshire RN license or compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg acute care nursing experience required
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Cerner electronic health record experience preferred
• Updated resume showing relevant medical-surgical experience
• Two recent specialty references
• Completed skills checklist matching Med/Surg specialty
• Driver’s license with address matching demographics
• NURSYS license verification for all active RN licenses
• Requested time off must be submitted at time of application

Med/Surg Nursing Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments according to standards of care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and ongoing care coordination
• Adapt quickly to unit workflow and contribute to a positive team environment
• Provide care across assigned areas and assist with floating as needed within the regional network
