Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse Job in Webster, Texas

Join a dynamic Labor & Delivery travel nursing team in Webster, TX, just southeast of Houston. This 13-week Registered Nurse assignment offers a fast-paced, collaborative maternity environment where you’ll support laboring and postpartum patients, fetal monitoring, and safe deliveries in a well-equipped unit.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
• Employment Type: Travel RN
• Schedule: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 5, 2026
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,730-$1,820
• Openings: 2
• Location: Webster, Texas (Houston metro area)

Job Requirements

• Active Texas RN license and current nursing credentials required
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience preferred/required
• NRP certification
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• EFM experience and competency
• Ability to work effectively in a busy, team-oriented maternity and women’s health setting
• Preferred: BSN and RNC-OBC-EFM
• Comfortable working nights and adapting to a high-acuity patient care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and maternity patients
• Monitor fetal and maternal status using EFM and related clinical equipment
• Assist with and manage C-sections, cerclage placement and removal, IUPC, and FSE procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary healthcare staff to ensure safe patient care
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and support safe deliveries
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit policies and protocols
• Wear royal blue scrubs in accordance with the unit dress code
• Contribute to a positive, supportive patient experience for families and newborns
