• Float Requirement: May float to Med/Surg, PCU, and ED as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• Strong experience caring for critically ill adult patients
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and recognize clinical changes quickly
• Ventilator management experience in a critical care setting
• Experience titrating vasoactive drips according to provider orders and protocols
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Comfortable working independently in a community hospital ICU
• Flexible, team-oriented, and patient-focused approach
• Willingness to assist across departments during emergent situations

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside care to ICU patients with complex medical needs
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition in a fast-paced critical care environment
• Manage ventilated patients and support respiratory interventions as needed
• Titrate vasoactive medications according to provider orders and clinical protocols
• Care for patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, DKA, stroke, and post-operative conditions
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care
• Support rapid response and code situations when needed
• Float within scope and competency to support Med/Surg, PCU, and ED assignments
