Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:15 PM to 7:45 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890

NICU RN Job Requirements

Minimum 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Level III NICU experience preferred
ACLS certification required

NICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate, and highly skilled nursing care to critically ill newborns in the NICU
Monitor infants closely and respond quickly to changes in clinical condition
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal outcomes
Administer medications, maintain accurate documentation, and follow established clinical protocols
Support families through education, communication, and reassurance during a stressful time
Maintain a calm, organized, and detail-oriented approach in a high-acuity neonatal care environment
