• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,580 - $2,720
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: Every third weekend
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• End Date: February 8, 2027

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience
• Experience in OB, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Recovery, or Med/Surg preferred
• Current RN license eligible for practice in Iowa
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work nights and every third weekend
• Flexibility to float between obstetric care and Med/Surg as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Recovery settings
• Support Med/Surg patients when OB census is low
• Monitor patient conditions, document care accurately, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining safety and professionalism
• Adapt quickly to changing unit needs and maintain a positive, team-oriented approach
