Job Requirements

• Active Georgia RN license
• Current BLS certification
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced hospital environment
• Comfort with standard medical-surgical procedures and patient care workflows

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients in an acute care setting
• Complete comprehensive assessments, monitor patient status, and update care plans
• Perform common unit tasks such as EKGs, blood glucose checks, and venipuncture
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to promote positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Support a positive patient experience through compassionate, professional bedside care
