- Shift: Night shift, 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)
- Schedule: 36/48 rotation
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,550 - $1,630
- Patient Census: Approximately 105 visits per day
- Patient Ratios: 4:1 on days, nights, and weekends
- Open Positions: 2
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of recent emergency nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
- Travel RN experience preferred
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
- Epic charting experience required
- Experience in a Level I Trauma or high-acuity Emergency Department preferred
- Ability to care for patients across the lifespan, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- Flexibility to work weekends as scheduled
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, compassionate emergency nursing care in a busy trauma environment
- Assess, triage, and stabilize patients with a wide range of emergent conditions
- Support trauma, stroke, STEMI, and other high-acuity cases as needed
- Perform and assist with emergency interventions, including IV therapy, blood product administration, and procedural sedation monitoring
- Manage critical care needs such as ventilator support, BiPAP/CPAP, central line care, and arterial line management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care
- Document care accurately in Epic and maintain strong communication throughout each shift
- Adapt quickly to changing patient volumes and prioritize safe, effective care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
