Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• 2+ years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic experience within the last 12 months required
• Recent phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months required
• Willingness to float as needed
• Graduation from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program required
• Ability to wear solid black scrubs
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
• Interview required

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care based on patient needs
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support admissions, transfers, and daily patient flow
• Float to other units when needed to support staffing and patient care coverage
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely charting in Epic
• Work effectively within patient ratios that may range from 1:5 to 1:6 depending on acuity
• Support a positive, efficient unit culture with professionalism and flexibility
