Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in an MS/Tele or telemetry setting
• At least 1 year of recent Epic experience required
• 2+ years of recent charge nurse experience preferred, with the ability to take charge on shift
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Recent phlebotomy experience within the last year
• Experience starting and maintaining IVs
• Accredited nursing degree through ACEN or CCNE
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays
• Solid black scrubs required

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to cardiac telemetry patients in a 33-bed unit
• Monitor patient status, interpret telemetry rhythms, and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Support safe patient flow and adapt to float assignments as needed
• Take charge responsibilities when assigned and help coordinate unit operations
• Perform phlebotomy, start IVs, and maintain IV access as clinically indicated
• Document care accurately in Epic and maintain strong communication with the healthcare team
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative hospital environment
• Follow unit protocols, uphold professional standards, and support high-quality patient outcomes
