• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Setting: 34-bed cardiac PCU / telemetry stroke overflow unit
• Location: Barberton, OH 44203
• Work Environment: Fast-paced acute care setting with patient ratios of 1:4/5

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of recent PCU, Progressive Care, or Telemetry RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and eligibility to work in Ohio
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Recent Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months
• Recent phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months
• Ability to start and maintain IVs
• Comfortable managing cardiac drips and progressive care patients
• Willingness to float as needed
• Accredited nursing degree from an ACEN- or CCNE-approved program
• Solid black scrubs required
• Open availability for interview scheduling

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients in a dynamic PCU environment
• Monitor patient status, interpret telemetry data, and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer and manage cardiac drips and other ordered therapies
• Perform phlebotomy and maintain vascular access as needed
• Support stroke overflow and progressive care patients using strong clinical judgment
• Collaborate with the care team to promote safe, efficient patient flow
• Float to other units when needed to support department needs
• Document accurately and efficiently using Epic
