Travel Med/Surg Tele RN opportunity in Winchester, VA. Join a fast-paced acute care team as a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse on a night shift travel nursing assignment in Winchester, Virginia. • Assignment Type: Travel nursing, on-site
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, typically 3 shifts per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Rotating holidays; limited holiday RTO may be considered
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Openings: 3
• EMR: EPIC experience required

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry and Med-Surg nursing experience
• Prior travel RN experience required
• Cardiac nursing experience required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required through AHA
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Active Virginia RN license or compact RN license
• Must be comfortable floating to other units as needed
• Strong clinical skills in acute care, telemetry, and med-surg environments

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult acute care patients
• Monitor telemetry patients and recognize changes in cardiac status
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in EPIC
• Float to other units when needed based on staffing and patient care needs
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach in a fast-paced hospital setting
