Job Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience within the last 3 years in the specialty
• Previous Med/Surg Tele or telemetry nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Current BLS certification through AHA
• Telemetry exam required prior to start with strict passing criteria
• Travel nursing experience required
• Ability to float as needed
• Strong clinical skills supporting adult and geriatric patients

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to adult and geriatric Med/Surg Tele patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and support a wide range of acute care interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate effective patient care
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain timely charting standards
• Provide patient education and reinforce treatment plans
• Float to other units as needed based on facility requirements
• Contribute to a high-performing nursing team focused on quality outcomes and positive patient experiences
