• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,820 - $1,910
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Setting: Progressive Care Unit Float / Resource RN
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand before start
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience floating to Med Surg and Progressive Care Unit required
• Comfortable working night shifts and a flexible schedule
• Ability to work weekends as needed
• Strong clinical background in telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and stepdown care
• Must be able to complete required pre-start documentation and compliance items on time

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to PCU and Med Surg patients in a float team environment
• Monitor adult and geriatric patients with varying acuity levels in an acute care setting
• Manage telemetry, cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, and insulin protocols as assigned
• Support patients requiring oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, and advanced respiratory monitoring
• Perform skilled assessments, interventions, and documentation using Epic
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe, effective patient care
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns promptly
• Float between Med Surg and PCU units based on patient care needs
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a team-oriented healthcare environment
