• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Day shift with Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday coverage; occasional call coverage may be needed
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call: Yes, for occasional PTO coverage on the designated call team
• Work Setting: 7-room operating room with 1:1 patient ratio

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• At least 1 year of nursing experience, plus one travel nursing assignment preferred
• Operating Room nursing experience required
• Experience with C-sections, orthopedics, general surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, pain, and pediatric dental cases preferred
• Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced surgical and acute care environment
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills
• Comfortable with on-call coverage as needed
• Previous experience in perioperative or surgical services is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the operating room
• Support surgical procedures across a variety of specialties as a perioperative RN
• Prepare and maintain a sterile, efficient, and patient-centered OR environment
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative staff to ensure smooth case flow
• Utilize OR equipment and technology effectively, including specialized surgical tables and instrumentation
• Respond to occasional call needs to support team coverage
• Contribute to a positive, family-oriented care culture focused on excellent patient outcomes
• Help maintain quality standards in acute care and surgical nursing services
