• Start Date: 11/2/2026
• Duration: 26 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule
• Shift Duration: 10 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,870 - $3,020
• Hours per Week: 40
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Call Requirement: Approximately 22 call shifts in 6 weeks, including nights and weekends
• Additional Scheduling Notes: Block scheduling cannot be accommodated

Job Requirements

• Active PA RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR nursing or cardiac surgery experience required
• Experience scrubbing and circulating cardiac surgical cases required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and TNCC certifications required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a busy cardiovascular operating room
• Scrub and circulate complex cardiac procedures with confidence and precision
• Support procedures such as CABG, valve repairs and replacements, heart transplants, dissections, LVADs, and TAVR-related cases
• Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, sterile technique, and teamwork throughout the surgical experience
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the OR team to deliver excellent outcomes
• Respond to call requirements and provide dependable coverage when needed
