• Shifts Per Week: 3 scheduled shifts per week; 4x12s may be considered
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130–$2,250
• Setting: Adult Med/Surg and Telemetry float coverage
• Floating: Required; may float to Neuro and Oncology as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of acute care Registered Nurse (RN) experience in Med/Surg Telemetry within the last 3 years
• Experience working in multiple medical-surgical units such as cardiac, spine, and neuro
• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Epic charting experience required
• Basic arrhythmia and telemetry knowledge required
• Ability to pass a telemetry exam prior to start
• Travel RN experience required
• Willingness to float and support different adult care units as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in Med/Surg Telemetry and related float areas
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions based on patient needs
• Recognize and escalate complications quickly and effectively
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, coordinated patient care
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain strong charting standards
• Adapt to changing unit needs while delivering patient- and family-centered care
• Support a safe, efficient, and collaborative clinical environment
