Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Alabama or a compact state license; no temporary licenses accepted
• AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required
• NURSYS verification required
• Associate degree in nursing required
• 2 years of overall experience in the specialty preferred/required, with consideration for 18 months under the highest level of professional license
• At least 1 year of recent med/surg telemetry nursing experience required
• Experience in telemetry, medical-surgical nursing, and bedside nursing care preferred
• Must be comfortable floating to other units or hospitals as needed
• Solid navy scrubs required

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to med/surg telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Deliver bedside nursing care in a fast-paced float pool environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support positive patient outcomes
• Adapt quickly to varying unit needs and maintain strong clinical standards across assignments
• Work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
• Float to other units or hospitals when operational needs require it
