- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed; may work up to 48 hours per week
- Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; holidays as needed

- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,840 - $1,940
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Alabama or a compact state license; no temporary licenses accepted
- AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required
- NURSYS verification required
- Associate degree in nursing required
- 2 years of overall experience in the specialty preferred/required, with consideration for 18 months under the highest level of professional license
- At least 1 year of recent med/surg telemetry nursing experience required
- Experience in telemetry, medical-surgical nursing, and bedside nursing care preferred
- Must be comfortable floating to other units or hospitals as needed
- Solid navy scrubs required
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to med/surg telemetry patients
- Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Deliver bedside nursing care in a fast-paced float pool environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support positive patient outcomes
- Adapt quickly to varying unit needs and maintain strong clinical standards across assignments
- Work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
- Float to other units or hospitals when operational needs require it
