• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910-$2,010
• Schedule Notes: Assignments end on Saturday; block scheduling is not available, but weekend-only requests may be considered
• Additional Notes: Charge nurse responsibility may be required with appropriate training and pay differential; limited time-off requests may apply

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Virginia or compact state eligibility at start
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac, telemetry, neuro, CVA, and medical-surgical conditions
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications, therapies, and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
• Collaborate with providers and care team members to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Support unit workflow and contribute to a positive, team-oriented patient care environment
• Assist with charge responsibilities if needed and trained for the role
