• On-Call: One week per month
• Float Area: Interventional Radiology

Cath Lab RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Ability to take call as scheduled
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Comfort working in a fast-paced procedural and acute care environment
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the cardiac catheterization lab
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
• Support procedures such as LHC, RHC, PCI, PTA, stenting, Impella, IABP, peripheral angiograms, PPM, ICD, EP studies, and select IR procedures
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and the procedural team to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain a calm, professional approach in a team-oriented setting
• Participate in call coverage as scheduled
