• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Contract Length: 6 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470-$2,600
• Schedule: Every other weekend; flexibility required to meet department needs
• Location: Asheville, NC 28801

Job Requirements

• Active RN license with at least 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience
• 2 years of nursing experience in a Level II trauma center and/or high-volume ED preferred
• Experience in a comprehensive stroke center preferred
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS required before start
• ENPC required within 90 days of hire
• Strong teamwork mentality with the ability to coach and provide real-time feedback
• Comfortable working in all areas of the ED and adapting to changing patient needs
• Experience with Cerner and a patient-centered approach to care

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient emergency nursing care to patients with varying acuity levels
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to support rapid response and high-quality outcomes
• Maintain excellent communication and uphold patient experience standards, including respectful interactions and consistent patient updates
• Document accurately in Cerner and follow unit-specific policies and procedures
• Support patient flow across the ED, including triage, behavioral holds, and general emergency care assignments
• Adapt to the needs of the department while delivering dependable, team-oriented care
