• Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care / Telemetry-Progressive Care
• Location: Johnstown, PA 15905
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Job
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Setting: Acute care telemetry / progressive care unit (PCU)
• Patient Population: Cardiac and geriatric patients

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• 2+ years of acute care nursing experience preferred; cardiac RN and telemetry experience preferred
• Experience with cardiac patients strongly preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and follow unit scheduling needs
• Must be comfortable supporting a high-acuity patient population
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to telemetry and progressive care patients
• Monitor and assess cardiac and post-operative patients with attention to changing conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to support treatment plans
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions according to best practices
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Support patients with diagnoses such as chest pain, MI, open heart recovery, Watchman procedures, TAVR, post-op cardiac cath, and pacer management
• Maintain a compassionate, professional presence while delivering exceptional bedside care
