• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

• Schedule: Days, with flexibility to work nights and mid shifts as needed
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, depending on unit needs
• Setting: Cardiac-focused acute care / telemetry step-down unit

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of acute care nursing experience required; 2+ years preferred
• Cardiac nursing experience required
• Experience with cardiac cath and post-op cardiac patients strongly preferred
• Ability to work all shift times, including days, nights, and mids as needed
• Strong team mindset with a positive attitude
• Completion of all required screenings and clearances prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor and assess patients with conditions such as chest pain, MI, post-op open heart, Watchman, TAVR, and post-cardiac cath recovery
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR system
• Support a patient ratio that promotes focused, attentive bedside care
• Adapt to unit needs and provide flexibility with scheduling and patient assignments
