• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Shift Pattern: 3x12 or 4x12 nights, every other weekend required
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000-$2,110

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• CPI certification required
• ENPC preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Comfort working with pediatric through geriatric patients in a fast-paced ED
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday coverage as assigned
• Must be comfortable floating within scope when needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with chest pain, respiratory distress, stroke, MI, trauma, abdominal pain, and psychiatric needs
• Perform emergency interventions including IV starts, medication administration, dysrhythmia recognition, and critical patient stabilization
• Care for patients requiring monitoring, isolation precautions, or behavioral health support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, IV team, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response resources
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support efficient patient flow in a busy Emergency Department
• Respond to changing patient needs while maintaining a calm, professional approach in a high-acuity environment
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care across all age groups
