• Schedule: Variable rotating days and nights; open to both day and night coverage
• Floating: Required
• Unit Focus: Labor & Delivery
• Charting: EPIC / Stork experience preferred

Job Requirements

• 4-5 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• Prior travel nurse experience required
• Active New York RN license required, with license verification through Nursys
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Resume must reflect relevant specialty experience
• Skills checklist matching the Labor & Delivery specialty
• Ability to work variable shifts, including both days and nights
• RTO must be provided at time of submission
• Comfort working in a high-acuity obstetric setting

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for ante-partum, intra-partum, and post-partum patients
• Support care for GYN and newborn patients as part of the unit’s patient population
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to monitor labor progression and patient status
• Assist with triage, recovery, and operating room support for cesarean deliveries as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and workflow in EPIC / Stork environments
• Adapt to floating assignments within scope and provide flexible coverage for patient care needs
• Use OBIX and related unit technology to support clinical communication and monitoring
• Deliver attentive, patient-centered care in a busy obstetrics and women’s health environment
