Job Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing
- At least 1 year of recent registered nurse experience required
- PCU, step-down, telemetry, or similar acute care experience preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
- Reliable availability for night shift scheduling
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective treatment plans
- Administer medications and treatments according to clinical guidelines and hospital protocols
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
- Support patient education and family communication as appropriate
- Maintain a professional, compassionate presence throughout each shift
