• Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts, 07:00–17:30
• Additional Coverage: One scheduled late shift per week (10:00–20:30) to support cases that run over
• On-Call: Required, with approximately 10–13 call shifts per month
• Contract Length: 16 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,030–$3,190
• Orientation: 20 hours
• Patient Population: Adults
• Unit Volume: Approximately 7–14 cases per day

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience required
• First-time travelers may be considered with a strong background in cardiac catheterization lab care
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CPI certification required or able to complete during onboarding
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Strong skills in cardiac procedural support, monitoring, and adult patient care
• Ability to work on-call, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Comfortable floating within scope to pre-op/PACU when needed

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assist with procedures such as PCI, pacemaker placement, loop monitors, TEE, and cardioversions
• Monitor patients undergoing procedural sedation and manage pre- and post-procedure care
• Support cardiac assessments, rhythm interpretation, sheath removal and monitoring, and vascular closure procedures
• Maintain patient safety and infection prevention standards throughout all phases of care
• Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and sterile field workflow for procedures
• Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and support staff to ensure efficient case flow
• Respond to on-call needs within required arrival time and support urgent cardiac cases as assigned
