- Healthcare Setting: Women's Health / Obstetrics / Couplet Care
- Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)

- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Schedule: Every other weekend and major holiday coverage required
- Floating: May float within the Women's Life Department; NICU float limited to feeders & growers
- Orientation: Provided prior to assignment start
Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
- BLS and NRP required
- ACLS preferred
- Experience in antepartum, obstetrics, postpartum, or newborn care preferred
- Epic experience strongly preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Strong assessment skills for maternal and newborn couplets
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital environment
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to women, newborns, and family units
- Perform comprehensive maternal and newborn assessments
- Support antepartum, postpartum, and couplet care patients
- Monitor high-acuity patients and respond appropriately to changing conditions
- Assist with deliveries when needed and support newborn stabilization
- Educate patients and families on breastfeeding, newborn care, and discharge planning
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate safe, effective care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and promote a safe patient care environment
- Follow unit policies, infection prevention practices, and quality standards
- Contribute to a positive, compassionate care experience for every patient and family
