• End Date: 12/28/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3 x 12-hour day shifts
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Schedule: Every other weekend and major holidays required
• Call: Up to 2 shifts per 6 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910-$2,010

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state or compact state
• At least 1 year of RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Postpartum, mother/baby, obstetrics, labor and delivery, or related women’s health experience preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality postpartum nursing and mother/baby care for mothers and newborns
• Support couplet care and assist with newborn transition after delivery
• Monitor maternal and neonatal conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Deliver breastfeeding education, discharge teaching, and newborn care instruction
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe, coordinated patient care
• May float to a special care nursery to support grower/feeders without respiratory support
• Maintain a compassionate, safe, and family-centered care environment
