• Position: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Shift Times: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM or 4:00 PM - 4:30 AM, based on department needs
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010

Job Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department or ER nursing experience
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Dysrhythmia exam required
• Ability to work night shift and adapt quickly in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, triage, and communication skills
• Experience with pediatric and adult emergency care preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
• Perform patient assessments, triage, and prioritization of care in a rapid-paced ER setting
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with nursing standards
• Monitor and support patients requiring critical care interventions, including drips and advanced respiratory support
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and the broader healthcare team to coordinate patient care
• Support patients across the lifespan, including pediatric and adult populations
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety at all times
• Respond calmly and effectively to urgent and changing clinical situations
