Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio or a compact state license in hand at time of submission
• At least 1 year of combined permanent experience in the ICU specialty
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience in a high-acuity critical care setting preferred
• Ability to work every other holiday as required
• Successful completion of orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate
• Manager, supervisor, ANM, or director reference in the specialty from the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to critically ill adult patients in the Medical ICU
• Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with critical care standards
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective care
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical best practices
• Participate in orientation, required competencies, and ongoing facility education expectations
• Contribute to a supportive team environment focused on quality outcomes and patient safety
