• Orientation: 16 hours, with required EKG and Pharm testing during orientation

Job Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of ICU nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
• Cardiac critical care experience required
• Active RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required before start
• Experience with EPIC or another electronic health record (EHR) system required
• Ability to complete required pre-start modules and compliance steps on time
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel plus nicotine screening required
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required, with medical/religious exemptions only

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias and respond to cardiac rhythm changes
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips as clinically indicated
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, and ventilated patients
• Support patients requiring BiPAP/CPAP and continuous IV sedation
• Interpret ABGs and provide suctioning, isolation, and PPE-compliant care
• Float within scope to support facility needs across nearby hospital locations
• Maintain strong communication, flexibility, and professionalism in a busy critical care environment
