• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse / Travel Nursing Job

• Setting: Acute care, high-acuity obstetric unit
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• End Date: 1/11/2027
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,400 - $2,530
• Schedule: Block scheduling may be available; every 3rd weekend and every other holiday required
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience preferred
• Advanced AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Experience caring for high-risk OB patients required
• Ability to titrate Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin drips
• Ability to circulate C-sections in the OR and recover patients in PACU
• Competence with fetal monitoring and newborn care during vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Comfort working in a fast-paced healthcare environment with multiple patient acuity levels

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring, postpartum, antepartum, and high-risk obstetric patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status using advanced electronic fetal monitoring systems
• Manage labor support, vaginal deliveries, and cesarean delivery assistance
• Administer and titrate ordered medications and drips according to unit protocols
• Support circulating duties in the OR and recovery care in PACU as needed
• Collaborate with charge nurses, hospitalists, surgical techs, and support staff to ensure safe patient care
• Float to postpartum and antepartum units when assigned
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical standards and safety practices
