Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with Med/Surg and telemetry experience to provide competent, compassionate care under the direction of the Nurse Manager. This travel RN position supports clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and evidence-based care in a collaborative environment. The role may also include expanded responsibilities such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee participation.

Job Requirements

• Active New York State RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Ability to work rotating shifts and support unit needs as assigned
• Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced acute care clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Provide competent, high-quality Med/Surg nursing care based on established standards
• Care for Med/Surg patients in a float environment with professionalism and flexibility
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient-centered care
• Contribute to service excellence, clinical practice, and evidence-based care
• May serve in expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, or committee member
• Follow unit expectations for rotating schedules, weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback coverage
