• Schedule: Full-time rotating day/night coverage, 3x12-hour shifts, with every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Shift Duration: 12 hours, rotating

• Assignment Length: 22 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130

Job Requirements

• Active New York State RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or RQI accepted where applicable)
• Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
• At least 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Strong triage, assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-moving acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages in the Emergency Department
• Perform triage, prioritize patient needs, and identify urgent or emergent conditions quickly and accurately
• Conduct thorough primary and secondary assessments and reassess patients throughout their stay
• Administer appropriate interventions and support treatment plans for both critical and routine emergency cases
• Prepare patients and families for diagnostic procedures, treatments, discharge, and follow-up care
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care team members to support safe, coordinated patient care
• Maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity while contributing to a healing environment
• Document care accurately and remain attentive to changes in patient condition
