Travel Mother/Baby Registered Nurse (RN) – Women’s Health Contract in Tahlequah, OK

Travel RN opportunity in Tahlequah, Oklahoma: provide compassionate Mother/Baby, Labor & Delivery, and women’s health care in a supportive community setting. • Shift: 12-hour days
• Schedule: Approximately 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,370 - $3,550
• Unit Focus: Mother/Baby, Midwifery, Women’s Health, Labor & Delivery support
• Setting: In-house delivery coverage with call room available

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Mother/Baby, Labor & Delivery, midwifery, or a similar women’s health nursing setting
• Active Oklahoma RN license
• Certified nurse midwife or related midwifery credential required for midwife-focused duties
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
• OBDNN certification required
• Strong assessment, triage, and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians and the care team

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and assess maternal and newborn needs in a women’s health and delivery setting
• Admit patients and support uncomplicated vaginal deliveries
• Perform postpartum discharges for non-cesarean patients
• Provide compassionate care, emotional support, and education before, during, and after labor
• Identify high-risk pregnancies and escalate care as needed
• Consult with physicians on complicated cases and operative deliveries
• Round on assigned patients and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Support Mother/Baby and women’s health services while contributing to a positive patient experience
