Overview

This travel ER Registered Nurse position supports a Level I pediatric trauma and burn center serving patients under the age of 19. You will work alongside a skilled interdisciplinary team in a busy Pediatric Emergency Department with a diverse case mix, including treat-and-release visits, acute trauma, and critical care needs. Job Requirements

• Active New York RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric Emergency Department or Pediatric ER experience required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS required
• Burn care experience highly desirable
• TNCC, ATCN, or ABLS preferred
• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients with urgent and emergent conditions
• Assess, triage, and manage patients across a wide range of acuity levels in the Pediatric Emergency Department
• Support care for trauma, burn, and critical care cases as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to provide safe, efficient patient care
• Respond quickly to changing patient needs in a busy ER setting
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards
• Float between responsibilities within the unit based on patient volume and departmental needs
