• Schedule: Part-time nights, 2-3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour night shifts
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and holiday availability required
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
• Start Date: 09/29/2026
• Assignment Length: 22 weeks

Job Requirements

• Current New York State RN licensure
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in long-term care
• Supervisory experience across multiple units
• Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing
• BSN preferred
• BLS certification through AHA or RQI required
• CPI certification obtained within 90 days of hire
• Familiarity with NYSDOH requirements preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
• Computer literacy and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of nursing units during assigned shifts
• Provide direct or delegated clinical supervision to staff across multiple units
• Support quality resident care through coaching, teaching, and team leadership
• Collaborate with leadership, medical staff, department managers, and ancillary teams to resolve unit concerns
• Make sound administrative decisions in the absence of senior leadership during off-shifts and weekends
• Promote a professional, respectful, and healing care environment
• Respond appropriately to issues involving bloodborne pathogen exposure risk and follow established safety practices
• Help foster teamwork, accountability, and excellent resident-centered care
