• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Weekly Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week, typically 3 shifts per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or half of the weekends
• Floating: May float to other ICU settings in the area and, at times, serve as a 1:1 sitter outside the ICU
• Charting System: EPIC
• Openings: 3
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Experience titrating drips in a critical care setting
• Ability to care for high-acuity ICU patients with confidence and adaptability
• Strong teamwork skills and the flexibility to float as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU environment
• Monitor and manage complex patient conditions, including cardiac, neurologic, respiratory, and metabolic diagnoses
• Titrate and manage common ICU drips such as dopamine, epinephrine, norepinephrine, cardene, nitro, vasopressin, diltiazem, insulin, and esmolol
• Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, respiratory therapy, and support staff to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Assess, document, and respond to changes in patient condition promptly and accurately
• Use EPIC for charting and clinical documentation
• Support patient care across the ICU and other assigned units when floated
• Maintain professionalism, reliability, and excellent communication throughout the travel nursing assignment
